Job Description

<strong>Basic Function:</strong>
To control the Maintenance Department workload on a shift-to-shift basis to ensure maintenance is performed within its due time, defect rectification is done without operational disruption and co-ordination with other ALPHASTAR departments to formulate solutions to repetitive or abnormal defects.<strong>Duties & Responsibilities :</strong>

To ensure all operational requirements as issued by Flight Operations Centre (FOC) have been issued to Maintenance and Aircraft Ground Handling
To ensure that all preparations for assigned flights are accurately monitored and reflected on the MCC status board.
To generate work orders for all tasks requested for the Flight Line.
To be responsible for the accountability of all work orders issued/returned.
To ensure that all Parts/Materials are ordered in according with the correct reference.
To ensure that all paperwork issued is returned to MCC in compliance with ALPHASTAR RSQM.
To accurately identify and report live status of all ALPHASTAR aircraft.
To identify any repetitive defects to the Maintenance Controller Supervisor/Manager
To carry out regular analysis of all resources allocated. To ensure that all the maintenance planned by the Planning department is executed at the right time to ensure assigned aircraft remains within compliance.
To ensure maintenance man hours are recorded accurately to assist analysis of the resources allocated.

<strong>Prerequisites:</strong>

Holder of FAA/EASA or ICAO Type II license in any trade or Repairman approval from ALPHASTAR QC.
Formal aviation training or recognized apprenticeship.
Troubleshooting knowledge of a range of aircraft similar to ALPHASTAR fleet.
Ability to read and reliably interpret all aircraft technical manuals.
Highly motivated individual with good organized approach to challenges.
Speak, read and write fluent English
Work with minimum supervision
Computer literate. Familiarity with MS Office
Pass employment medical exams.

<strong>Total Experience :</strong>

Minimum 5 years experience in Maintenance or Maintenance Control.
