Job Description



Basic Function:

Supervises subordinates for handling maintenance activities either in Airframe and power plant or avionics areas per the approved maintenance schedule for the assigned area of work. To ensure that all aircraft/systems, aircraft documents and aircraft parts are maintained strictly in accordance with current airworthiness regulations, ALPHASTAR Quality Procedures and in compliance with manufacturer technical publications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To work safely and ensure safety is assured around the individual.
  • To ensure that all, Flight Mechanics, A&Ps, Avionics and Assistant Technicians working under his management do so within the regulations of the Airworthiness Authorities and the working processes are in accordance with aircraft maintenance manuals and to ALPHASTAR Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM) procedures.
  • To ensure that all defects are investigated to the highest professional capacity as dictated by the Aircraft troubleshooting/Fault isolation manuals procedures along with industry-recognized troubleshooting methods.
  • To ensure that all routine maintenance in complied within its due time
  • To ensure that the flight line operation is smooth and in compliance of customer flight demands.
  • To ensure that recurrent defects are evaluated and promptly routed to MCC for further investigation.
  • To ensure that all ramp areas around the ALPHASTAR operated hangars are clear of FOD at all times, and are operated in accordance with ALPHASTAR Quality procedures.
  • To assign and ensure all ALPHASTAR Aircraft accompanied with a flight mechanic.
  • To ensure that all technicians training recurrent training is attended.
  • To distribute the manpower as per work load requirement and to approve leave requests.
  • To approve and follow-up all requested parts by line maintenance mechanics.
  • To plan and perfume OJT for all Assist mechanics.
  • Evaluate all AMTs, and Assist mechanics periodically to assure the quality of their performance isn't degrading.

Prerequisites:

  • Holder of an FAA, EASA or ICAO type II A+Por avionics license.
  • Recognized apprenticeship or formal training
  • Training should be current in accordance with ALPHASTAR Quality procedures.
  • Management, Leadership and Supervisory qualities to be able to manage team of AMTs.
  • Ability to read and understand all standard aircraft technical manuals.
  • Able to communicate to an advanced level in written Technical English.
