Technical Liaison Engineer
Term: Permanent
Location: South West England
Salary: depending on experience 28,000 - 55,000GBP
We are currently seeking a Technical Liaison Engineer for a world leader in the design, development, manufacture and support of landing gear manufacturer. With continued growth, our client now seeking a customer-focused teamworker to take responsibility for the provision and co-ordination of technical support for our range of products.
Playing an active role in programme, modification and customer reviews, your key challenge will be to analyse technical problems and develop effective solutions. You will also manage technical events through the MD PCD 371/372/373 process, as well as co-ordinate tasks and deliverables associated with the analysis of supportability and maintainability requirements during the development phase of new landing gear programmes.
In addition, the client needs you to provide technical support for aircraft programmes after they have entered into service, assist customers through the 24/7 AOG service and prepare and deliver detailed technical presentations. As such, this is an outstanding opportunity to build your career with a progressive team thats driving technology forward.
Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent in aeronautical/mechanical engineering and with proven relevant technical experience, you should combine excellent communication, influencing and problem solving skills with a sound knowledge of project management tools and techniques. A high level of IT literacy is also important, along with the ambition to progress within this dynamic and forward-thinking business.
