Our client has instructed AircraftEngineers.co.uk to source Certifying Helicopter Maintenance Engineers for various locations around the UK
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities -
- Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by
Maintenance Supervisors.
- The ability to work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure
continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Certification of maintenance and repair on rotorcraft including AS350,
AS355N +F, AS365, EC120, EC130, EC135 and EC155.
- Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant
and mechanical and electrical systems.
- Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests
to prove their serviceability.
- Supervision of maintenance fitters and the certification of their
work.
- To assist in day to day running of Hangar, including aircraft movement
and general house keeping responsibilities.
Special requirements -
- Holder of a EASA B1.3 License with type rating on EC135 is essential
- Working knowledge of EASA regulations most importantly Part 145, Part
M and UK ANO requirements is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test
equipment.
- Category "C" desirable.
- Other rotary type ratings would eb advantageous
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
