Additionally, Alpha Star Aviation Services Management can tailor a custom aviation solution to meet client's unique private air travel requirements, in addition to our responsibility for operations. Alpha Star Aviation Services has it is own technical and maintenance services to private, commercial and specialized aviation market, as well as to provide logistic support including purchase, storage of spare parts to support the needs of our clients.

Basic Function:

The employee is responsible for performing all aircraft Line maintenance works, tasks, including repairs, cleaning, adjustment, component removal / installation, functional testing, operational checks, fueling and de-fueling, launch and recovery of the Aircraft, and troubleshooting on all Aircraft systems At line maintenance level. Yet to fly with ALPHSTAR Fleet aircrafts as assigned flight mechanic when needed and will be full responsible of the aircraft assigned to, also to conduct all policies and procedures of flight mechanic as per ALPHSTAR Policies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform all maintenance duties in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, company policies procedures and GACA Regulations.
  • Ensures that maintenance tools and equipments are calibrated frequently and calibration validity checked prior each use.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance task and aircraft system troubleshooting including system bites, adjustment and tests.
  • To investigate defects to the highest professional capacity as dictated by the Aircraft troubleshooting/Fault isolation procedures along with industry-recognized troubleshooting methods.
  • To assess recurrent defects and present a technical evaluation to the Line Maintenance Supervisor for further investigation.
  • Perform aircraft maintenance, remove and replace aircraft system major components.
  • Determines from documents, technical orders and other specifications the proper sealing compounds, cleaning solutions and repair procedures.
  • Documents all work performed in accordance with approved inspection procedures and aircraft manuals.
  • Complies with all safety awareness, housekeeping and foreign object damage programs, and ensure that all assistant technicians working under his supervision do so.
  • Operates ground support equipments, required tools and testing equipments.
  • Performs all other maintenance duties called by his superior.

Minimum requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in A/C maintenance
  • Holder of a GACA or an FAA A&P license
  • 3 years Hawker 900XP experience, other Hawker experience will be considered
  • 2 years troubleshooting on Hawker aircraft
  • 7 years aviation experience
  • Type rating must be current
