We are looking for a Business Development Executive to work for an Aerospace OEM in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will have experience in Fuel Cells and/or Emergency Flotation Systems as well as Aerospace and Defence experience in the EMEA territory.
As a Business Development Executive you will create and implement a strategy to identify and secure new business opportunities as well as developing existing relationships with clients in the Aerospace and Defence industry.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for your own personal targets and developing the territory; including managing proposals, preparing forecasts and contributing to the marketing strategy within key business areas. A critical requirement will be the ability to find, lead and secure successful contract negotiations at a senior level involving both technical and commercial issues.
You will be the point of contact for your clients throughout the entire process from initial Sale through design and manufacture to delivery making this far more interesting that you average sales role.
Because of this you will spend large amounts of time working from the Portsmouth site, therefore candidates must live / be willing to move within commutable distance rather than work from home when in the UK.
