Mechanical Systems Engineer Stans, SwitzerlandWe are seeking an Mechanical Systems Engineer to aid in the development and certification of the primary flight control system within our New Projects Development Department.
This challenging position involves:
- Responsibility for one or more of the following mechanical systems: Secondary flight controls, Air conditioning, Oxygen or Hydraulic.
- Development, qualification and certification of mechanical components & systems
- Technical liaison and vendor management with external suppliers of systems and equipment
- Design reviews
- Tracking of technical requirements to FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations via DOORS
- Rig or aircraft ground testing as well as support to flight test and reporting
For this position you are required to have the following skills and background:
- University Degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering
- Minimum Seven years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within a development, integration & certification environment
- A specialism in one or more of the above mentioned mechanical systems areas is expected
- Project management skills together with flexibility for multi-tasking activities and proven strong vendor management skills
- Good English is a must, knowledge of German preferable
