Job Description
Our client is a growing maintenance, repair, and overhaul business to airlines in the Middle East. They are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Director with significant experience of airframe maintenance and component services within an engineering environment to assist in the growing development of this business.
Key duties include:
Implement a strategic business development plan
Responsible for managing Profit and Loss and driving margin improvement
Responsible for managing bids, contract management and negotiation
Ensures programmes are managed efficiently to ensure programmes deliver on time
Responsible for client liaison and management, ensuring that customer requirements are understood, and that relationships are developed
Ensure that all legal and safety standards are upheld and maintained
Promotes and supports PMO governance, processes, metrics, reporting, standards and initiatives
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a Commercial Director or Commercial Manager within the aerospace and aviation industry. They will also have worked in an engineering environment and have significant knowledge of MRO processes. They will be highly analytical and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
