Paint Strippers (Semi Skilled) Note - Please do not apply if you do not have previous industrial experience in a paint strip process environment. This is NOT a painting and decorating role... Situated: Yeovil, Somerset Duration: 2 months+ (Currently until March 31st 2012 with possible extension there after depending on work load) Hour Rate: £10.00 paye Hours: Days/ Possible shift Requirement within the Transmissions & Mechanical Parts Centre of Excellence for the position of Semi Skilled Operator Paint Strip reporting to the Production Supervisor working as part of a shift team responsible for the following activities: -
Complete the Paint strip process to support the Repair Centre requirements. This includes use of the Vac Blast and Dasic Strip processes.

Mask components prior to strip/paint.

Part marking components as required

Participation in continuous improvement activities
The Person -
A proven track record in Paint Strip processes is a must

Experience of Vac Blast and Dasic Strip

The successful candidate will have, or be able and willing to quickly learn the ability to use measuring equipment.

The successful candidate will also need to be enthusiastic, conscientious and be able to demonstrate flexibility and will have a proactive approach to problem solving.

The ability to work as part of a team or on your own is also a vital requirement of this role.

The successful candidate will take an active role in continuous improvement initiatives.
